"Being a gay couple, my partner had always said Hell would freeze over before we got barried. From the 1st email to Leonie I was happy with the response and the attitude of Leonie's email was so positive and put my worries at ease. Our 1st meeting with Leonie was so positive over a coffee and a Diet Coke for my partner, even as Leonie said from the start we meet up, and if we do not click, we can walk away and choose another Celebrant, From the moment we sat down with Leonie we felt the pressure lifted off our shoulders and our worries were gone. The locations that were suggested had great views and we all decided on the Tallangatta Lookout. The emails that followed leading up to the day was terrific and put mind worries at ease. On the day, the event went really smooth with Leonie reassuring us things were ok and our Wedding was terrific and there were no faults. Both David and I would LOVE to thank Leonie Duryea for a wonderful day and being so supportive to us on our special day and for also joining our Wedding party that night. "We cannot recommend Leonie enough. From before our 1st face to face meeting I was already comfortable with her. After our 1st meeting that comfort grew to complete confidence and trust. Leonie was told about my and David’s plans for a Halloween wedding, and she was honest and told us that she hadn’t done that kind of thing before and probably wouldn’t dress up, which was fine with us. So over the year, like many others, COVID got in our way and plans had to be changed. The entire way and each twist and turn, Leonie was right by our side. The date became available again and Leonie offered to make it an extra special night and marry us in secret at my husbands belated 50th birthday party. It was fabulous! "We were lucky enough to have Leonie officiate our wedding in early March and she was an absolute star throughout the whole process. She helped make the ceremony part of our day a breeze! Leonie had some wonderful suggestions but never put any pressure on us. She helped capture our personalities and made the official stuff a bit of fun.
