Weddings

Whether your special day is going to be in a beautiful parkland, on a mountain top or a beach, in the bush, or an intimate back yard affair, I would love to help you create the day of your dreams.  
​A truly great ceremony reflects your individuality, and I will work with your photographer and other industry professionals to develop an authentic  and unique day for you.  

Here's the process:

  • You contact me, we check the date availability and then meet for a no cost, no obligation chat.  If I am the Celebrant for you, we are on the way.  We can discuss your ideas and costs at this meeting, or arrange another follow up meeting.
  • The "Notice of Intended Marriage" is lodged at least one month before the wedding day and no more than 18 months prior.  Once you complete this form with me, you pay a deposit and I get to work for you.
  • I provide you with a "ceremony planner" containing lots of ideas for readings, vows, ring exchange wordings, etc.  These are simply suggestions to get you started, or you can use your own original ideas.   I will put it all together in a draft service for you to check before the day.  
  • I strongly recommend a rehearsal with everyone involved in your service to make sure all the wedding party are on the same page and to prevent any little problems before they occur. 
  • The "No Legal Impediment to Marriage" document will be completed and signed as close as possible to the actual ceremony, usually on the rehearsal day.  This forms part of the official paperwork that I send to the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages in the state that your wedding takes place. 
  • I will take care of all the legal paperwork so you don't have to worry about it.
  • I will provide my top of the range PA system complete with cord free microphone; connections for bluetooth, phone, guitar lead etc;  so we can have  your music playing clearly and the service heard by all the guests, no matter where the location.
  • ​I can provide a signing table and chairs if required at your venue.​

wedding Packages

I offer three wedding packages:
  • "Legals Only" which is just that - you two, your two witnesses (or I can provide witnesses if needed), some simple words and it's all done, quick and simple.  You can say your own vows, exchange rings etc, just no additional ceremony details.  Cheaper than travelling to Sydney or Melbourne for a registry office,  no parking fees, accommodation or fuel costs, and you get to choose your date - depending on availability of course. Fee for "legals only" ceremony is currently $500.  
  • "Just Get Us Married" - a little more than the legals only ceremony!   You can have up to 15 people present, so no PA system is required, no rehearsal, the ceremony is of my choice.   You can, of course, say your own vows and exchange rings, choose a location and date (pending availability).  A whole lot nicer than just "sign here"!  Fee for this package is currently $650.
  • "The Signature Wedding Experience" - the full package with all the bells and whistles!  For the couple who wants a relaxed, heartfelt ceremony that is uniquely theirs - with my expert guidance to make it the best day ever.  With a  relaxed planning process, professional delivery, and lots of input from you into the actual ceremony script, which will be  written from your story, not a copy and paste from every other wedding.  We will have a rehearsal at the venue, and I will have my high quality PA equipment so everyone can hear every word!  You also get a few extra inclusions such as keepsake ceremony booklet and vow certificate.  Fee starts from $990 (including travel in local area).
